Google Chrome 1 is a web browser developed by Google Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. This version of Chrome was officially released on 2009-04-24 for public access and a brief summary of important updates and change log pertaining to this edition can be read below.

Google Chrome 1.0.154 was the first stable version of Chrome Browser, although there has been early versions like 0.2.149, 0.3.154 and 0.4.154. It took nearly three months for Google engineers to develop a bug free version since the launch of its first version 0.2.149 of 02-Sep-2008.  While previous releases were based on WebKit 522 and 525, the stable version was based on WebKit 528. All the three builds were based on V8 JavaScript engine 0.3.
