Chrome 101 is a web browser developed by Google Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. This version of Chrome was officially released on 2022-04-26 for public access and a brief summary of important updates and change log pertaining to this edition can be read below.

Google Chrome 101.0.4951.54 was built on Blink 101 layout engine using JavaScript V10 engine version 10.0.124. This version is released for Windows, iOS and android platforms and has many functionality additions apart from number of fixes and improvements. 

• WebSQL Deprecated: The Web SQL Database standard was first proposed in April 2009 and abandoned in November 2010. Gecko never implemented this feature and WebKit deprecated this feature in 2019. The W3C encouraged those needing web databases to adopt Web Storage or Indexed Database.

• Password Management: One of the few user-facing changes we spotted in Chrome 101 comes in the form of a new experiment for the browser’s built-in password manager on desktops. When you enable the chrome://flags/#password-notes flag and restart your browser, you’ll have the option to add notes to saved passwords. This lets you jot down additional context or details, like when you changed the password, when you created the account, or answers for security questions.
• Bookmarking: We can bookmark your grouped tabs and make it effortless to remember and come back to them whenever required. A pretty thoughtful addition by the tech tycoon, we must say. We are making our lives easier on the browser with each passing day.
