Chrome 106 is a web browser developed by Google Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. This version of Chrome was officially released on 2022-09-27 for public access and a brief summary of important updates and change log pertaining to this edition can be read below.

Google Chrome 106.0.5249.62 was built on Blink 106 layout engine using JavaScript V10 engine version 10.6.194. This version is released for Windows, iOS and android platforms and has many functionality additions apart from number of fixes and improvements. 

• New Intl APIs: With the newly introduced Intl APIs, Chrome 106 release let the developers to display content in localized format while leaving the burden to the core engine instead of maintaining themselves the complexity of codes to the user. The API intelligently detects the the currency symbol and data formats based on a compiled list from the new number format functionality. 
• Pop-up API: With the help of 'Popup' attribute Chrome 106 has extended the functionality of Pop-up API which marked building UIs more easier to display the information right in front of the user without worrying about positioning, stacking elements, focus, or keyboard interactions with zero JavaScript. 
  
• CSS Features:  Interop improvement has gone to next level with the addition of length unit IC which is designed to size the text to improve readability which gives predictable control irrespective  of the size. This unit is used by languages which use ideograms which measures length based on width or height.
  
• Deprecations: There are many deprecations in this release which includes Removal of HTTP/2 push, non-ASCII characters in cookie domain attributes, and Persistent Quota.

1. HTTP/2 push: Removed the ability to receive, keep in memory, and use HTTP/2 push streams sent by the server. 
2. non-ASCII characters: Reject cookies with a domain attribute containing non-ASCII characters(éxample.com).
3. Persistent Quota. Removed the seldom used PERSISTENT quota type which does create complexity to the system.
