Chrome 122 is a web browser developed by Google Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. This version of Chrome was officially released on 2024-02-20 for public access and a brief summary of important updates and change log pertaining to this edition can be read below.

Google Chrome 122.0.6261.58 was built on Blink 1156 layout engine using Javascript V8 engine, which offers improved support for Revamped Safety Check, Password Sharing with Family, Improved WebAssembly Support, Testing for the end of third-party cookies, and other improvements. This version is released for Windows, iOS and android platforms and has many functionality additions apart from number of fixes and improvements.

• Security Fixes: If you are looking for safe browsing then updating Chrome 122 is need of the hour as this version fixes as high as 12 vulnerabilities and seizable no of them are termed as medium-severity.
• APIs for Developers: Storage Buckets API & Async Clipboard API can help developers in managing storage efficiently and preserve formatting while HTML copying.

• Read Aloud: Chrome will read a webpage for you, a function which was only availble to desktop users are finally provided to Android.
• Built-in-PDF reader: Chrome is on its way to build a native PDF reader for android, which can eventually wipeof the existence of dedicated PDF reader apps.
• Improved Tab Restoration: Accidentally closed a tab while browsing within an app? No worries! Chrome 121 automatically restores recently closed tabs within apps, just like it does on desktops. This saves you the hassle of manually navigating back to where you were.

• Sign-in & Sync: Now while signing in to chrome your passwords, bookmarks are synced automatically between devices which was earlier a seperate feature in settings.
• Personal Data Management: Users can easliy enable/disable the function of syncing of user data and now this process is much more streamlined.
• Listen to This Page policy: Administrators can now control whether users have access to the text-to-speech feature "Read aloud" through a new policy setting.
  
• Native PDF viewing: While groundwork for built-in PDF viewing exists, it's unclear if it will reach iOS in Chrome 122.
