Google Chrome 17 is a web browser developed by Google Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. Google Chrome 17.0.963 build was released with few significant changes in user interface and security modules, notable among them are GAIA disabling and download scanning.

GAIA profile info: This module is temporarily disintegrated from this release and now user can not update their profile photo and gravatars, though earlier stored info will remain intact. 

Security Update:  Download scanning protection is introduced, which makes the files being scanned before getting downloaded to user computers, 

Print Module: Now user can set the page layout in Chrome before printing, which makes better customization of user printing needs.

User Interface: Omnibox pre-rendering and history tab has been improved with new functionalities.
