Google Chrome 23 is a web browser developed by Google Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. Google Chrome 23.0.1271 release was updated with features related to privacy and power management and replacement of flash API.

Privacy Management:  Google introduced Do Not Track control for users, a HTTP header which informs the HTML pages to not to track the user Geo location and IP details. Now user has the option to hide them from website cookies and can browse anonymously.

Site Permission Manager: With site permission manager user can control which sites can be accessed or blocked through permission settings. It will enable the user to block the malware sites not being accessed through Chrome browser.

Power Management: About 25% less power consumption can be achieved with Hardware Video Acceleration technology, included in this build.

API Replacement:  This version has replaced NPAPI flash player with PPAPI, Pepper-Based Flash Player.
