Google Chrome 37 is a web browser developed by Google Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. Google Chrome 37.0.2062 was built on Blink 537.36 layout engine and has two important modification of addition of DirectWrite and removal of showModalDialog API apart from other performance improvement updates.

DirectWrite API:  Chrome added support for this API, a text layout API developed by Microsoft, which could dramatically improve the visual quality and performance of web pages display. Many browsers started using DirectWrite by replacing Direct2D.

showModalDialog: Chrome retired showModalDialog from this version, an API even though several enterprise web application had been using them. It might lead the chrome user not to use those websites using these module.
