Google Chrome 4.1 is a web browser developed by Google Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. Google Chrome 4.1.249 was released mainly for just one reason to disable its XSS auditor, though there were minor improvements and features added.  

There were reports from the users that the XSS auditor was posing significant threat to performance of the browser and it was mandatory to disintegrate XSS Auditor from Chrome immediately.

Hence this version was released. This version added many Privacy features like content settings (cookies, images, JavaScript, plug-ins, pop-ups).
