Google Chrome 48 is a web browser developed by Google Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. This version of Chrome was officially released on 2016-01-20 for public access and a brief summary of important updates and change log pertaining to this edition can be read below.

Changes in Windows Version:  A Clumsy clear browsing history has now much more improved functionality.  Tab Discarding function earlier an option has now been made default. In the visual changes area,  if Save your password is clicked, the icon would turn to black notifying the user a confirmation. Right clicking an embedded weblink would change the window.  

Changes in Android Version: As such there is no important functionality changes has been mentioned other than generic improvement of bug fixes and performance related to speed.

Changes in iOS Version:  Chrome has adapted the Apple's latest rendering engine WKWebView in this build. Tremendous improvement in the annoying crash rate is noticed to the extent of 70% crashes now will not appear. JavaScript execution also has now speedy performance. In the visual improvements, icons in the new tab page has been redesigned and now it will be easier to access your frequently visited webpages. Chrome bookmarks can be now searched by dragging down or right side from the home screen itself.
