Google Chrome 49 is a web browser developed by Google Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. This version of Chrome was officially released on 2016-03-02 for public access and a brief summary of important updates and change log pertaining to this edition can be read below.

Google Chrome 49.0.2623 was built on Webkit Blink 537.36 layout engine using JavaScript V8 engine version 4.9.385. This version is released for Windows, Linux, iOS, OS X and android versions and has number of fixes and improvements mostly in Windows version only.

Windows Version Updates:  Apart from known bug fixes, most of the changes are in the visual design of the App.  Extensions icons now appears near search tab making it easy for quick addition of your favorite chrome extensions. Scroll bar movements, Book Marks Bar and download page appearances are redesigned for better user experience.

Android & iOS Version updates: Bookmarks in iOS version has now improved look to make it easy for finding favorites and also there are many bug fixes and stability improvements are made.  In the Android version there are many bug fixes done but specific data related to the fixes is not declared in the official release notes.
