Google Chrome 5 is a web browser developed by Google Inc, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. This version of Chrome was officially released on 2010-05-21 for public access and a brief summary of important updates and change log pertaining to this edition can be read below.

The release of Chrome 5.0.375 has the significance for Google to enter the non-windows Platform and this release was the first stable version for Mac and Linux platforms. This version is based on WebKit 533 layout engine and built on JavaScript V8 version 2.1. It also supported 64 Bit Linux platforms. 

In addition to improvements like better HTML 5 Support and Bookmark manager, this version was integrated with Adobe Flash player which is a major milestone for the Chrome journey.
